    AHEC has been a regular participant at IFFT (previously the International Furniture Fair Tokyo), which was held every fall. Walnut and white oak are the most popular species for hardwood furniture and interior products such as flooring, but AHEC Japan is working to promote other readily available species and chose to focus on alder, cherry, and hickory for this event. In addition to furniture, we plan to show products such as interior doors, flooring and built-in cabinets made in these lesser-known species.
